Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) has released an employment notification for the recruitment of 1377 Non Teaching posts in the cadre of Staff Nurse, Officer, Assistant, Stenographer, Computer Operator, MTS and others in Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti. 1. Female Staff Nurse
No of posts: 121
Age Limit: Upto 35 years
Educational Qualification:
▶ B.Sc (Hons.) in Nursing OR Regular course in B.Sc Nursing OR Post Basic B.Sc Nursing.
▶ Registered as a Nurse or Nurse Midwife (RN or RM) with any state nursing council.
▶ 2.5 years experience in a minimum 50-bed hospital.
2. Assistant Section Officer
No of posts: 05
Age Limit: Between 23 and 33 years.
Educational Qualification:
▶ Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university.
▶ 3 years experience in administrative, and financial matters in Central govt/Autonomous organizations under the Central Govt.
3. Audit Assistant
No of posts: 12
Age Limit: Between 18 and 30 years.
Educational Qualification:
▶ B.Com from a recognized university.
▶ 3 years experience in accounts work in Government/Semi-Government/ Autonomous organizations.
4. Junior Translation Officer
No of posts: 04
Age Limit: Not exceeding 32 years.
Educational Qualification:
▶ Master's Degree of a recognized University in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the Degree level
OR
Master's Degree of a recognized University in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the Degree level.
OR
Master's Degree of a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi medium and English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium ofa examination at the Degree level;
OR
Master's Degree of a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with English medium and Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium ofa examination at the Degree level;
OR
Master's Degree of a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi and English as compulsory or elective subjects or either of the two as a medium of examination and the other as a compulsory or elective subject at Degree level;
▶ Recognized Diploma or certificate course in translation from Hindi to English & vice versa or two years' experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice versa in Central/State Government offices, including Govt. of India Undertaking.
5. Legal Assistant

Age Limit: Between 23 and 35 Years.
Educational Qualification:
▶ Degree in Law from a recognized university.
▶ 3 years of experience in handling legal cases in Government Department/ Autonomous Bodies/ PSU.
6. Stenographer

Age Limit: Between 18 and 27 years.
Educational Qualification:
▶ 12th pass from a recognized board or university.
▶ Skill test norms
Dictation: 10 mts@ 80 w.p.m.
Transcription: 50 mts (Eng.) 65 mts (Hindi) (On computer)
7. Computer Operator

Age Limit: Between 18 and 30 years.
Educational Qualification: BCA/B.Sc. (Computer Science /IT) OR BE/B. Tech (Computer Science) from a recognized university.
8. Catering Supervisor
No of posts: 78
Age Limit: Upto 35 years
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management. OR, Trade proficiency certificate in catering with 10 years of service in defence services (for Ex-servicemen only).
9. Junior Secretariat Assistant
No of posts: 360+21
Age Limit: Between 18 to 27 years
Educational Qualification:
▶ 12th pass from a recognised board or university & possessing a minimum speed of 30 wpm in English typewriting or 25 wpm in Hindi typewriting.
▶ Passed +2 level of senior secondary from CBSE/State Board with Secretarial practices and office management as vocational subjects.
10. Electrician cum Plumber

Age Limit: Between 18 and 40 years
Educational Qualification:
▶ 10th pass from a recognized board or university.
▶ ITI certificate in the trade of electrician/ wireman.
▶ 2 years experience in electrical installation/wiring/plumbing.
11. Lab Attendant

Age Limit: Between 18 and 30 years
Educational Qualification: 10th pass with certificate/diploma in Laboratory technique. or 12th Class with Science stream from a recognized Board/ University.
12. Mess Helper

Age Limit: Between 18 and 30 years
Educational Qualification:
▶ Matriculation (10th pass).
▶ 5 years experience working in a government residential organization’s mess/school’s mess.
13. Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS)

Age Limit: Between 18 and 30 years
Educational Qualification: Class X from a recognized board.
Age Relaxation: Category-wise age relaxation is as mentioned below:
▶ SC/ ST: 5 years
▶ OBC-NCL: 3 years
▶ PwBD: 10 years
▶ PwBD (OBC): 13 years
▶ PwBD (SC/ ST): 15 years
