The Central Selection Board (CSB), Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC), Kokrajhar, Assam has released an advertisement for the recruitment of 414 Forester-I and Forest Guard posts under Forest Department, BTC. Interested and eligible candidates may apply for these posts.

✿ Educational Qualification - (শিক্ষাগত অৰ্হতা) = Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognised university or equivalent.
Pay Scale: PB-2, Rs.14000-49000/- + GP Rs.6200/-

✿ Educational Qualification - (শিক্ষাগত অৰ্হতা) = HS or equivalent.
Pay Scale: PB-2, Rs.14000-49000/- + GP Rs.5600/-
Residentship: Candidates only from BTC area need to apply.
Mode of Examination:
The mode of selection/examination for the post of Forester-I and Forest Guard as mentioned above will be as follows.
(a) Written Test for 3 Hours on General Knowledge, General Mathematics and English of Higher Secondary standard for Forester-I and HSLC standard for Forest Guard.
(b) Physical Fitness Test comprising 26 Kms for male and 16 Kms for female of walking to be covered within 4 hours followed by a medical examination will also be conducted for both.
(c) Viva-Voce Test.
Age Relaxation: The upper age relaxation will be as follows-
▶ OBC/MOBC: 3 Years
▶ ST/SC: 5 Years
Application Fee:
▶ All the eligible candidates applying for the post as mentioned above need to deposit a Treasury Challan to be paid at the Kokrajhar Treasury Office or IPO for an amount of Rs. 150/- only for General, OBC, and MOBC candidates and Rs. 100/- only for SC and ST candidates.
▶ In the case of the Treasury Challan, the Challan must be paid in favor of the Principal Secretary, BTC, Kokrajhar, payable at the Kokrajhar Treasury Office only under the Head of Account - 8443 Civil Deposit, Personal Deposit, BTC. The challan paid at the Kokrajhar Treasury Office will only be accepted. And in the case of an IPO, it must be paid in favor of the Member Secretary, CSB, Kokrajhar, payable at the Kokrajhar Head Post Office.
