As a part of this, Applications are invited for filling up of 164 vacant posts of Constable for Assam Commando Battalions in the Pay Scale of Rs. 14000-60500/- with Grade Pay of Rs 5600/- (Pay Band-II) and other Allowances, as admissible under the rules. Applications must be submitted online through SLPRB website (www.slprbassam.in) and will be received w.e.f. 15-10-2023. The last date of receiving Application will be 01-11-2023

✿ Total Vacancy - (মুঠ পদ) = 164 posts
✿ Salary (Scale of Pay) - (দৰমহা) = Rs.14,000-60,500/-with Grade Pay of Rs.5,600/- and other allowances as admissible under the rules.
✿ Nationality – (ৰাষ্ট্ৰীয়তা) = Candidates must be Indian citizens, permanent resident of Assam.
Employment Exchange Registration: Candidates must register his/ her name with a local Employment Exchange in Assam.
Local Language Proficiency: Candidates must speak Assamese or any other state language fluently.
✿ Age Limit - (বয়সৰ সময়সীমা) = 18 to 21 years as on 01-01-2023 (i.e. the Candidates must be born on or before 01.01.2005 and on or after 01.01.2002).
Age Relaxation: Upper age limit will be relaxed for:
(i) 5 (five) years in respect of Candidates belonging to SC, ST (P) and ST (H).
(ii) 3 (three) years in respect of Candidates belonging to OBC/MOBC.
✿ Educational Qualification - (শিক্ষাগত অৰ্হতা) =
❀ HSLC or Equivalent examination passed from a recognized Board or Council.
❀ In addition for the posts of Constable (Nursing), Nursing Diploma is necessary.
