Assam Police APRO Recruitment 2023
❦ Short Description (চুটি বিৱৰণ) = In pursuance of ongoing efforts of Government of Assam to fill up vacancies in the Assam Police, DGCD, APRO etc, total number of 5563 posts have been identified to be filled up in the current phase of recruitment.
As a part of this, Applications are invited for filling up of 204 posts of Constable of Police (Communication), 2 posts of Constable (Dispatch Rider), 2 posts of Constable (Messenger) & 2 posts of Constable (Carpenter) in APRO in the Pay Scale of Rs. 14,000-60,500/- (Pay Band No.2) and Grade Pay as shown against each post plus other Allowances as admissible under the rules. Applications must be submitted online through the SLPRB website (www.slprbassam.in). The online Application will be received with effect from 15-10-2023 and the last date of receiving Application will be 01-11-2023

Essential Qualification: H.S. (Science) passed with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM) from a recognized Board or Council. The Candidates must have obtained pass marks Page 2 of 17 in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM) in H.S. (Science) examination to apply for the post.

Essential Qualification: HSLC or equivalent examination passed from a recognized Board or Council and must possess valid driving license for LMV or MMV or HMV.

Essential Qualification: HSLC or equivalent examination passed from a recognized Board or Council and must possess valid driving license for LMV or MMV or HMV.

Essential Qualification: HSLC or equivalent examination passed from a recognized Board or Council and passed prescribed ITI course in trade.
Nationality: Candidates must be Indian citizens, permanent resident of Assam.
Employment Exchange Registration: Candidates must register his/ her name with a local Employment Exchange in Assam.
Local Language Proficiency: Candidates must speak Assamese or any other state language fluently.
Age Limit: 18 to 25 years as on 01-01-2023 (i.e. Candidate must be born on or before 01.01.2005 and on or after 01.01.1998).
Age Relaxation: Category-wise upper age limit relaxation is as mentioned below
✿ SC/ST(H)/ST(P): 5 (five) years
✿ OBC/ MOBC: 3 (three) years
✿ Trained Home Guards: 3 (three) years
