❦ Short Description (চুটি বিৱৰণ) = In pursuance to the Govt. Letter No HMA.199/2019/Pt./70 Dated 14.11.2022, APHQ Letter No. S-VI/Misc./CCTNS/2020 Dated 16.11.2022 and CID HQ Letter No. E/VIl/172-21/CID/3118 Dated 23.11.2022 interested eligible candidates from the jurisdiction of Golaghat District are hereby invited to submit application for the post of “Data Entry Operator” under CCTNS & ICJS Project of Assam Police.
✒ Post Name - (পদৰ নাম) = Data Entry Operator (DEO)
✿ Total Vacancy - (মুঠ পদ) = 10 Number
✿ Educational Qualification - (শিক্ষাগত অৰ্হতা) =
(i) 12th Pass with Degee/Diploma in Computer Application from any reputed institute/organization recognized by AICTE, Govt. of India.
(ii) Proficiency of typing in Assamese and English.
(iii) Minimum typing speed of 30 (thirty) words per minute in Assamese & English on computer.
✿ Desirable Qualifications :-
(i) Persons working as DEO in a reputed Govt. Institution/Office/Organization etc. and having an experience of one or more years of working as DEO, Experience below one year period shall not be counted and would be treated as fresh candidate.
(ii) Persons already worked as Data Entry Operators (DEOs) of CCTNS will be given preference on production of proper documents.
✿ Remuneration (দৰমহা) =Remuneration is fixed for the DEO @ Rs. 20,000.00 (Rupees Twenty Thousand) only per month with 3% annual increment subject to satisfactory performance acceptable by CID, Assam. No annual increment shall be given to any DEO nor his tenure extended without receiving written confirmation from CID, Assam in this regard
✿ Age Limit - (বয়সৰ সময়সীমা) = Age limit as on 01.01.2022 should not be less than 18 years and should not be more than 40 years.
✒ How To Apply (কিদৰে আবেদন কৰিব) =
- The candidate should submit his/her BIO-DATA in STANDARD FORM of Application published in the Assam Gazette Part-IX along with original certificates/ documents relating to qualification, experience, age, identity proof with two passport size coloured photographs and a set of self attested copies of the same.
- Offline applications will be received with effect from 30th November, 2022. The last date for receipt of applications will be 15th December, 2022
- Offline application will be received at Office of the Superintendent of Police, Golaghat.
Preference will be given to : (i) who have already worked as DEO for CCTNS on production of proper documents. (ii) who have working experience as DEO in Govt. organization for more than 1 (one) year. (iii) Candidates of Kamrup (Metro) District.

✒ Application/Examination Fees (আবেদন মাচুল) = There will be NO application fee.
✒ Selection Process (নিৰ্বাচন প্ৰক্ৰিয়া) =
- The candidates for the above mentioned post will be selected on the basis of written test which may be online or offline containing multiple choice questions. The questions for the test shall be on basic Computer Skills/Appetite and General Knowledge (GK), total 60 Marks. As well as typing test and viva-voce will attend after qualifying the written test.
- On qualifying of the written examination, there will be one typing skill test followed by personal interview. Candidates must have a typing speed of 30 words p.m. both in English and Assamese. maximum of 30 marks for Typing test and 10 marks for the interview.
- Final selection merit list is based on the marks secured in Objective Test + Typing Test and interview. The same will be sent to CID HQ for onward submission.
