❦ Short Description (চুটি বিৱৰণ) = Railway Recruitment Board (RRB), Ministry of Railways, Govt. of India has released an employment notification CEN No. 01/2024 for the recruitment of 5696 Assistant Loco Pilot Posts in various RRBs. The online application process for RRB ALP Vacancy 2024 will be started from 20th January 2024 to 19th February 2024.
✿ Post Name - (পদৰ নাম) = Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP)
✿ No of posts: 5696 posts
No of posts under RRB Guwahati : 62 posts
No of posts under RRB Siliguri : 67 posts
✿ Salary (Scale of Pay) - (দৰমহা) = Level 02 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix with initial pay of Rs 19900/- plus other allowances as admissible.
✿ Age Limit - (বয়সৰ সময়সীমা) = Candidates age must be between 18 to 30 years as on 1st July 2024 .
Age Relaxation: The relaxation of upper age limit for reserved categories are as follows:
▶ OBC - 3 years
▶ SC/ST - 5 years
✿ Educational Qualification - (শিক্ষাগত অৰ্হতা) =
A) Matriculation / SSLC plus ITI from recognised institutions of NCVT/SCVT in the trades of Fitter, Electrician, Instrument Mechanic, Millwright Maintenance Mechanic, Mechanic Radio & TV, Electronics Mechanic , Mechanic Motor Vehicle, Wireman, Tractor Mechanic, Armature and Coil Winder, Mechanic Diesel, Heat Engine, Turner, Machinist, Refrigeration and Air-conditioning Mechanic.
OR
Matriculation / SSLC plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship in the trades mentioned above.
OR
B) 3 years Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Automobile Engineering.
OR
Combination of various streams of these Engineering disciplines from a recognised Institution in lieu of ITI.
OR
Note: Degree in the Engineering disciplines as above will also be acceptable in lieu of Diploma in Engineering.
RRB ALP Physical and Medical Standard Requirement
✒ Application Fees (আবেদন মাচুল) = Candidates have to pay an application fee as mentioned below:
▶ SC / ST / Ex-Serviceman / PWDs / Female / Transgender / Minorities / Economically backward class. (The fee for these categories shall be refunded after deducting bank charges as applicable, on appearing in First Stage CBT.) = Rs.250/-
▶ Others = Rs.500/-
