❦ Short Description (চুটি বিৱৰণ) = The Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Department of Assam has issued an official notification regarding the recruitment of 367 posts of Veterinary Field Assistants (VFA) under the Directorate of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Department, Assam. The department has invited applications from eligible candidates in the standard form of application within the last date.

✿ Educational Qualification - (শিক্ষাগত অৰ্হতা) = The candidate shall have to pass HSSLC (Science) with Biology as one of the subjects and also have to complete the one-year certificate course in elementary knowledge of Veterinary Science from the recognized school of the School of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry established by the Government of Assam at Ghungoor, Silchar.
Physical Standard: A candidate for direct recruitment to the cadre of VFA shall be of sound health both mentally and physically and free from any organic defects or body infirmity likely to interfere with the efficient performance of his duties and required to undergo medical examination before appointment to the service.

✿ Salary (Scale of Pay) - (দৰমহা) = Pay Band 2, Rs.14,000-49,000/- with Grade Pay of Rs.6,200/- plus other allowances as admissible from time to time.
✿ Age Limit - (বয়সৰ সময়সীমা) = The candidate’s age should not be less than 21 years and not more than 40 years as of 1st January 2023.
✒ How To Apply (কিদৰে আবেদন কৰিব) =
Interested candidates are invited to apply in the standard format prescribed in Part IX of the Assam Gazette for applications. Along with the application, candidates should submit testimonials and a self-addressed envelope affixed with a stamp worth Rs. 5.00 for communication purposes. The completed application must be addressed to the Director, A.H. & Vety. Department, Assam, Chenikuthi, Guwahati-781003, and can be submitted physically in the Drop Box at the Directorate or sent by Registered Post.
Applicants are required to securely affix one recent photograph in the designated space on the application form using high-quality glue or adhesive. Additionally, they should enclose a separate copy of the photograph with the application. It is important that the candidate prominently signs the photograph. The Directorate of A.H. & Veterinary will not be held responsible for any detachment or loss of the photograph.
The government has discontinued the practice of requiring attested copies of certificates/mark sheets by a competent authority. Therefore, applicants must submit copies of their certificates/mark sheets, self-declared as true copies of the original, along with their application.
