Assam Police Sub Inspector Recruitment 2023
❦ Short Description (চুটি বিৱৰণ) = In pursuance of ongoing efforts of Government of Assam to fill up vacancies in the Assam Police, DGCD, APRO etc, total number of 5563 posts have been identified to be filled up in the current phase of recruitment.
As a part of this, Applications are invited for filling up of 144 existing vacancies in the rank of Sub Inspector of Police (UB) in Assam Police in the Pay Scale of Rs. 14000- 60500/- (Pay Band No.2) plus Rs. 8700/- Grade Pay plus other Allowances, as admissible under the rules. Applications must be submitted online through the SLPRB website (www.slprbassam.in). The online Application will be received with effect from 15-10-2023 and the last date of receiving Application will be 01-11-2023

✿ Salary (Scale of Pay) - (দৰমহা) = Rs. 14000- 60500 (Pay Band No. 2) plus Rs. 8700/- Grade pay plus other allowances .
✿ Nationality – (ৰাষ্ট্ৰীয়তা) = Candidates must be Indian Citizen, permanent resident of Assam.
i) Candidates must register his/her name with a local Employment Exchange of Assam.
ii) Candidates must speak Assamese or any other State language fluently.
✿ Age Limit - (বয়সৰ সময়সীমা) = Candidate should not be more than 26 years and less than 20 years of age as on 01-01-2023 (Candidate must be born on or before 01-01-2003 and on or after 01-01-1997).
Relaxation: Relaxations :Upper age limit will be relaxed for:
(i) 5 (five) years in respect of candidates belonging to SC, ST (P) and ST(H).
(ii) 3 (three) years in respect of candidates belonging to OBC/ MOBC.
✿ Educational Qualification - (শিক্ষাগত অৰ্হতা) = The candidate must be a graduate in Arts, Science, Commerce or equivalent stream from a recognized College/ Institution affiliated to a recognized University.
✒ How To Apply (কিদৰে আবেদন কৰিব) =
Applications must be submitted online through SLPRB website www.slprbassam.in. No other forms of application will be entertained. Candidates must follow the following steps during submission of online application:
❖ Register in the Portal using valid mobile number.
(Note: Candidates are advised to keep the mobile number unchanged until the recruitment process is over)
❖ After successful registration candidates will get an Assam Police Recruitment ID. Candidates will have to apply for any posts advertised through SLPRB during the year 2021-2022 by logging in with this ID.
❖ Candidates will register their profile in the application portal once for all. However, the candidature of those candidates will be cancelled who generate multiple recruitment ID.
✒ Selection Process (নিৰ্বাচন প্ৰক্ৰিয়া) =
Candidates whose applications are found correct in all respect will have to sit in written examination. Candidates numbering only 5 times the number of posts in respect of each category will be called for PST (Physical Standard Test) and PET (Physical Efficiency Test) on merit basis. If any candidate is found to have any physical deformity as may be detected by the Medical Officer present in the Recruitment Board, he/ she will be debarred from participating in the other tests.
✒ Written Test Syllabus (লিখিত পৰীক্ষাৰ পাঠ্যতালিকা) =
The written test will be of 100 marks and will be completely OMR based.
There will be 100 questions and each question will be of 1 (one) mark. There will be negative marking of ½ mark for each wrong answer. The questions will be set in three parts
(i) Logical reasoning, aptitude, comprehension
(ii) Matters relating to History and Culture of Assam and India and
(iii) General Knowledge.
Candidates will use black or dark blue ball pen to answer the OMR based answer sheet. Duration of the test will be of 3 (three) hours.
