State Level Police Recruitment Board, Assam has released an employment notification for the recruitment of 2450 Constable (AB) vacancy for newly created Assam Commando Battalions. Interested and eligible candidates may apply online for these vacancy.

✿ Total Vacancy - (মুঠ পদ) = 2450 posts
Category-wise vacancy:
❀ Constable (AB) Male & Transgender: 2220 posts
❀ Constable (AB) Female: 180 posts
❀ Constable (AB) Nursing: 50 posts
✿ Salary (Scale of Pay) - (দৰমহা) = Rs.14,000-60,500/-with Grade Pay of Rs.5,600/- and other allowances as admissible under the rules.
✿ Nationality – (ৰাষ্ট্ৰীয়তা) = Candidates must be Indian citizens, permanent resident of Assam.
Employment Exchange Registration: Candidates must register his/ her name with a local Employment Exchange in Assam.
Local Language Proficiency: Candidates must speak Assamese or any other state language fluently.
✿ Age Limit - (বয়সৰ সময়সীমা) = Candidates age must be between 18 to 21 years as on 01-01-2021 (i.e. the candidate must be born on or before 01.01.2003 and on or after 01.01.2000).
Age Relaxation: Category-wise upper age limit relaxation is as mentioned below
❀ SC/ST(H)/ST(P): 5 (five) years
❀ OBC/ MOBC: 3 (three) years
❀ National and International sports person: 3 (three) years
✿ Educational Qualification - (শিক্ষাগত অৰ্হতা) =
❀ HSLC or Equivalent examination passed from a recognized Board or Council.
❀ In addition for the posts of Constable (Nursing), Nursing Diploma is necessary.

Candidates need to upload following documents (as applicable) along with online application form -
i) Passed certificate of HSLC or equivalent examination.
ii) Mark sheet of HSLC or equivalent examination.
iii) Admit card of HSLC or equivalent examination for proof of Age.
iv) Employment Exchange registration number.
v) Certificate of Sports person to avail 5% reservation of posts & age relaxation .
vi) Caste Certificate from the Competent Authority.
