Recruitment for Sub- Inspector (UB) in Assam Police in pursuance to Advertisement issued on 11-04-2018 & published in news papers on 12-04-2018

The Physical Standard Test (PST)/ Physical Efficiency Test (PET) for recruitment of 597 posts of Sub Inspector (UB) in Assam Police will be held wef. 1st Feb’2021 at 4th AP Bn Parade Ground, Kahilipara, Guwahati. Admit cards for the candidates who have qualified for PST / PET will be uploaded on SLPRB website www.slprbassam.in. and they should download their admit cards w.e.f. 23-01:2021. Any person finding difficulty in downloading the admit cards or any other difficulty may immediately contact the Toll Free Help Line

Candidates should report for PST/ PET at the venue/ place on the date and time shown in the admit card. They should also bring the following Testimonials / Documents for verification.

Testimonials / Documents to be submitted when appearing in PST / PET: The candidates should bring a set of self attested photocopies along with the originals of the following documents / materials for verification by the Selection Committee on the date of PST / PET. Candidates failing to bring the originals will not be considered for such qualifications as claimed by him/her and no further rectifications will be entertained after the test date.

i. Certificate of proof of age. (HSLC /Passport/Driving license or equivalent).

ii. Certificate of HSLC or equivalent examination.

iii. Certificate of Graduation (BA / B. Sc/B. Com or equivalent) ( pass certificate as well as mark sheet in original)

iv. Certificate of additional qualification such as Degree / Diploma Certificate from recognized / accredited institute etc. ( pass certificate as well as mark sheet in original)

v. Certificate of Sports / Games etc. (For which the candidate would be claiming weightage of marks)

vi. Experience of service in Home Guards and Certificates of NCC. including Certificates of Medals / Republic Day Participation Certificate etc.

vii. Certificate of Caste from the competent authority in respect of the candidates belonging to ST (P), ST (H), SC, OBC/MOBC & EWS.

viii. 2 (two) copies of same passport size photograph, which was uploaded in the online application.

NB:- Candidates who qualified in PST/PET shall have to appear in Computer Based Test (CBT) on the next day. The venue & time for CBT will be intimated after completion of PST/PET.

Educational Qualification - (শিক্ষাগত অৰ্হতা) = The competitor must be an alumni in Arts, Science, Commerce or identical stream from a perceived College/Institutions partnered to a perceived University.

Pay - (দৰমহা) = pay size of Rs. 14000-49000 (Pay Band No. 2)plus Rs. 8700 Grade pay in addition to different stipends as allowable under the guidelines.

Age Limit - (বয়সৰ সময়সীমা) =
Applicant ought not be over 24 years and under 20 years old as on first January 2018.(Candidate must be conceived at the very latest 01-01-1998 and on or after 01-01-1994).

New Age Criteria -

GENERAL Born between 01-07-1995 to 01-07-1999
OBC and MOBC Born between 01-07-1992 to 01-07-1999
SC/ST Born between 01-07-1990 to 01-07-1999

Unwinding: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 (five) years if there should be an occurrence of up-and-comers having a place with SC, ST (H) and ST (P).

(Up-and-comer must be conceived at the very latest 01-01-1998 and on or after 01-01-1989).

Different Terms and Condition -

Selection Process (নিৰ্বাচন প্ৰক্ৰিয়া) =

Competitors whose applications are discovered right in all regards will be required a composed test which will be led in all the District Headquarters. The applicants should show up for the Written Test in the locale of his/her present private location. The Chairman claims all authority to change the setting of the test and no portrayal and so on will be engaged in such manner. Before entering the assessment place, biometrics of every applicant will be finished.

The composed test will be of 100 checks and will be totally OMR based. There will be 100 inquiries and each question will be of 1 (one) mark. There will be negative checking of ½ mark for each off-base answer.

The Syllabus will be set in three sections -
(I) Logical thinking, inclination, cognizance
(ii) Matters identifying with History and Culture of Assam and India and

(iii) General Knowledge.

Up-and-comers will utilize dark or dim blue ball pen to answer the OMR based answer sheet. Length of the test will be of 3 (three) hours
