Short Notification (চুটি বিৱৰণ) = Online application are invited from intending eligible candidates who are citizen of India as defined in the Constitution of India having registration in Employment Exchanges in the State of Assam for filling up the following vacancies in the cadre of Driver post in Assam Secretariat (Civil) in the scale of Pay Band Rs.14,000-to Rs.49,000/- plus grade pay Rs.5200/- and other allowances as admissible under rules.

Educational Qualification - (শিক্ষাগত অৰ্হতা) =
(a) Minimum Educational Qualification HSLC examination passed or equivalent from a recognised board / council of government of Assam.
(b) A Candidate must possess a valid driving License (Cab).

Salary - (দৰমহা) = Pay Band Rs.14,000/- to Rs.49,000/- and a Grade Pay Rs.5200/-

Age Limit - (বয়সৰ সময়সীমা) = Candidate must not be less than 18 years and not more than 44 years of age as on 01-01-2019.

PRESCRIBED FORM THROUGH ONLINE MODE ONLY.
NO OTHER MODE FOR SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION

Mode of Selection :
A candidate have to appear in the following examination for
selection.

Phase-I : Candidates whose applications are accepted will be
required to appear in the Written Test on Driving knowledge
on Traffic Rules & Traffic Signals to be held at Guwahati on
the date to be notified later on. The Driving knowledge on
Traffic Rules & Traffic Signals will be of 100 marks.

Phase-II : Against each vacancy four candidates will be short
listed on the basis of the marks obtained in the Written Test on
Driving knowledge on Traffic Rules & Traffic Signals. The
short listed candidates will have to appear alongwith all original
testimonials in the Driving Skill Test to be held at Guwahati to

be notified later on. The Driving Skill Test will be of 100 marks.
