The candidates must possess good academic record with 55% of marks at Master Degree in the relevant subject or an equivalent grade in point scale On the grading system. A relaxation of 5% of marks may be provided to the applicants belonging to SC & ST & PWD categories.
In addition, the candidate must have cleared NET/SLET/ SET; however, candidates having Ph.D. degree in accordance with the (minimum standard and procedure for award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulation 2009 shall be exempted from the minimum condition of NET/SLET/ SET.
